I bought my blog awhile back and when I bought the blog it had a great Google Page Rank of 4. I was afraid that my page rank would go down after a couple of months of someone new & new to blogging took over this blog, but that never happened. I went through several Google Reviews without any change and was very pleased with myself. It was only after the Google Review of about 3 mths ago that my rank went to 0 and I was wild. I checked around with anyone and everyone that I could think of and was informed that it was probably because of my Text Link Ads that I have on my blog .Then after talking to a fellow blogger who has been in the business (blogging) for quite awhile now told me that there was several ways I could go about this. Either I could get all shook up about google's Page Rank and try to change my blog to conform to their rules and regulations or I could just continue to do what I wanted to do. She asked me if I was happy w/ my content and was I happy with the money I was making? I had answered yes to all of those, then why not continue to do what you want to do and forget about Google for now. I've been around looking at other blogs and reading post looking at their comments, some of these blogs that have page ranks of 4,5,6, might have great or good post but when I look at their comments they have no one there. I have a great following of bloggers who actually take the time to read my post and make a comment but I also do the same for them and other people. So I've decided not to let Google dictate to me how or what to do with my blog. As far as page per post, I know a well known blogger who is a little miffed after this last Google Page Rank updating his ranking went down and he felt he got screwed. He's also known for doing quite a bit of pay per post and for months Google never touched him but this time around he got slapped and he didn't like it. He"s also a great writer but when you do a post about Red Devil vacuum cleaner you know damn well that it's a pay per post, I'm not sure if he thought the reader never caught on to what he was doing but I guess Google caught on this time. I think we should all continue to do the best we can do and not let it get into our heads, and by just keep on keeping with what we are doing Google will look at us and finally give us what we deserve. If we think we deserve a higher rank then that's all that is important. Yes it would be nice to get on the front page of Google don't get me wrong, but until I get there and "I will" get there I'm content with what I have.
