I couldn't agree more, it is definitely annoying. I have an Open Id account but I rarely use it.

Retina-scan logins through iSight cameras will be commonplace by the time CJ or LS adopt OpenID.

yeah, that's always annoying.

Ma.gnolia.com has the best implementation I've seen (for my own tastes).
they've really integrated OpenID well and you can sync the ID to specific
accounts already there, etc.

The one problem I usually have with Open ID is that by the time a website I use adopts it, I already have a login. And using Open ID to login is basically like having a different account.
